| Hello my name is Carl, I am from West Yorkshire. I have been into railways since about 1979 when my Dad used to take us to the East Coast Mainline to look at the new High Speed Trains. Once we had seen Deltics at full cry I knew that they were the choice of power for me. I only started photography in 97 starting with a Canon EOS 5000 shooting prints briefly then moving onto slide. I then used a CANON EOS 50E which I loved. My first foray into digital was with a Canon Powershot G3. Next in line was a Canon EOS 10D, now i have most recently moved onto a Canon EOS 30D. I shoot all images in RAW format. I am fully open to any comments/criticisms that you may have. So enjoy the images and keep popping back if you can find the time.
